The Nation Association of Youth Organizations (NAYO) an umbrella Association of youth Organizations working in Zimbabwe through the Civic Space Working Group on Civic Space, held a Press Conference on the shrinking Civic Space in Zimbabwe. The Press Conference had key recommendation with the the major one being a strong call for the Government of Zimbabwe to come up with Legislative frameworks to ensure that the Freedoms of Association, Assembly and Expression do not only exist in the National Constitution but that they are enjoyed by all citizens. This comes at a time when Zimbabwe has witnessed the continued abuse of Human Rights on citizens of Zimbabwe by the State.
