The Harare West Member of Parliament, Joana Mamombe a Zimbabwean politician, former Student leader as well as a member of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Alliance has gone into hiding following the crackdown activists and citizens by State Agents. Joana Mamombe has since managed to run for her life after members of the Security forces visited her Parents, home looking for her and there after brutalizing her Father who has since been hospitalized. Civic Space continues to shrink in Zimbabwe as the continued arrests, and intimidation of both activists as well as opposition party members continue to be on the rise.
